Time: 7pm till 12pm.
Our 2018 Burns Night festivities will once again be held at the Parmelia Hilton, Perth. The event is open to everyone, members and non-members, so why not come and join us – you can then spend the rest of the Australia Day long weekend recovering!
Those wishing to share Mr. Burns’ birthday celebrations with us will receive pre-dinner drinks on arrival (accompanied by our Honorary Piper), followed by a three course dinner, which of course includes a haggis course as well as a wee dram to toast The Bard. All beer, wine and soft drinks are included in the price.
The haggis will of course be appropriately addressed prior to consumption; the Immortal Memory will be recited, to remind us of Burns’ life and the ‘Laddies and Lassies’ will toast one another. After all that, you can dance the night away to the music of our friends the Heel ‘n’ Toe Band.
(For those of you that can only remember the Gay Gordons and half of Strip the Willow and would like to look a little more proficient on the dance floor, we will be holding two (2 hour) dance practice sessions before the event. These will be held on Friday 11th and Friday 18th January, at The Royal Park Hall, Charles St. (corner of Vincent St.), West Perth. Classes will start at 7:30 and cost $5 per person, to cover the cost of the hall.)
Tickets are $120 each for members and $140 for non-members. All you have to do to order them is click HERE and follow the prompts.
Ticket sales end at midnight Sunday 20th January 2019.
